Prioritising Your Safety
As lockdown restrictions ease, your safety and the wellbeing of our team will remain our top priority. We have taken advice from the UK Government and England Golf on how to ensure this.
Below are some of the changes to the way we operate during this time.
Booking Your Tee Time
When coming to play golf, you will need to pre-book your tee time online, using your intelligentgolf log-in details.
- Members can book 7-days in advance.
- Visitors can book 5-days in advance.
Tee times are limited to three bookings per seven days and can be booked Monday to Sunday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Need help to log in to your intelligentgolf account?
To log in to intelligentgolf, you will need your membership number and PIN. Your PIN can be reset online if you need a new one.
Playing Safety At Nizels By The Club Company
When you come to play golf at Nizels By The Club Company, you will notice several changes such as our team members wearing face coverings, hand sanitizing stations, and some services as out of action.
When you first arrive back at Nizels By The Club Company, please check-in at the golf reception for your round.
Once you are checked in, arrive at your 1st tee no earlier than 5 minutes before your start time, keeping socially distant.
Shooting From The Bunker
If you find yourself in a bunker, please rake over the area with your golf club after you have had your shot.
We have installed new cups to prevent cross-contamination when retrieving your golf ball. Your golf ball will sit halfway in the hole from the top. Please, do not remove any flags from the cup.
Playing Competition Golf
We expect golf competitions to open from the 6th of April onwards.
As a golf member, you can book 7-days in advance online, with visitors able to book 5-days in advance.
Unfortunately, we cannot host any anonymous players for competitions or tee times. When booking with a partner, please add your partner's name at the time of booking.
To enter a golf competition, you will need to log into your intelligentgolf account either online here or via the igmember app and register your place in the competition.
Hiring The Club
Due to the current restrictions, we cannot provide our club for hire at this time.
Buying Equipment From The Pro Shop
Our shop will be open daily until dusk for items like new golf balls, tees, and equipment. We accept debit and credit cards but cannot accept cash at this time.
- Mondays to Friday from 6:30 am
- Weekends from 6:00 am
Can I play golf without booking in advance?
Members and visitors must pre-book to play golf with us. This allows us to ensure we have safe social distancing measures in place.
Can I arrange for a golf lesson?
Yes, you can arrange with our PGA professionals for lessons at your club.
Can I hire a buggy or trolley?
Yes, you can hire a buggy or trolley if available. Please do keep socially distant when using them.
Are practice facilities open?
Practice facilities will be open for use, however, putting/chipping greens will only be available 15 minutes before your scheduled tee time.
