Message from the General Manager
I hope you have all had a fantastic Summer and are continuing to enjoy the wonderful sunshine of late.
The golf course has been receiving excellent feedback and I would like to thank Paul and his greenkeeping team who work tirelessly to keep the course and grounds in such fine condition throughout the year.
I would also like to thank our outgoing Captains Leigh, Pat and Paul for all their hard work and exceptional commitment and passion to their roles throughout the year. Thank you also to all our members for their support of our Club Charity Beams this year. We will be announcing the final total of the monies kindly raised shortly but it is estimated to be at least £20,000 which is an outstanding achievement.
Our new Captains Leigh, Janette and Clive have now taken over and we wish them every success in their new roles. The 2019/2020 Captain Club Charity will be Canine Partners which is a UK charity transforming the lives of people living with disabilities by training amazing assistance dogs.
We are hoping to fund and support at least one new care dog from our Charity work this year. Please take a few minutes to read one of the Canine Partner leaflets around the club to get a full understanding of the amazing work they do and what is involved in training an assistance dog.
The new Studio timetable has started and please do try one of our new TRX classes if you haven’t already done so as they are receiving some excellent feedback.
Our new Head Chef Andy Page started in August and we wish him every success in his new role.
Finally, we have some wonderful staff news of the arrival of two of our teams’ new arrivals! Congratulations to Luke, our chef on the arrival of baby Molly-Grace and to Kerry, our Personal Trainer on the arrival of her son.
Please do not hesitate to contact me directly at the Club at [email protected] with any feedback or suggestions.
